LASH LIFT & TINTING
Frequently Asked Questions
What is an EyeLash Lift & Tint?
Lash Lift is an advanced eyelash perming technique that lifts and curls your lashes making them look longer and fuller. Unlike the traditional lash perms that make the tips of your lashes curl backwards, Lash Lift curls at the root or base of the lash. Lash Lift instantly opens the eye area creating a more youthful effect and the appearance of longer and thicker eyelashes. Tinting is a dying of the natural lash, & is optional but is recommended as an add-on to your service to give the appearance of a darker thicker fuller lash.

How long does it take?
The entire appointment should take about 1 hour including the consultation and procedure. During this session, the practitioner will consult the client on lash curl intensity & desired tint color. Once the client is satisfied with the choices, we begin the procedure.
The procedure consists of :
*Lash Bath- Thoroughly cleansing the lashes to remove any makeup, debris or residue on your lashes to help the lift & tint last longer.
*Lash Lift - Lifting & Curling of the natural lashes that lasts approximately 4-6 weeks with two separate solutions made in the highest quality.
*Lash Tint - Semi permanent mascara tinting on your lashes that lasts approximately 8 weeks.

Can I get my re-lift touchup session sooner than 6 weeks?
Touch up sessions should not be done earlier than 4 weeks after initial lifting session as you do not want to over process and damage your lashes.
Is it painful?
The lash lift & tint process is completely painless. We do advise that clients keep their eyes closed throughout the entire procedure, if solution or tint gets in the eyes it can tingle and sting a little, but will stop as soon as tears or saline solution is Most clients choose to take a "lash nap" while having the service done. You know what they say... Lash Naps are the Best Naps!

How long does it last?
Approximately 4-6 weeks on average, but can last up to 12 weeks depending on skincare routine, and following after care instructions.

Although allergic reactions to the products & pigments are rare, it could be possible for certain individuals. We suggest a pigment patch test for individuals who have high skin sensitivities or are sensitive to:
-
Topical makeup products
-
Gold, silver and nickel
-
Hair dyes
Patch tests should be performed 5-7 days prior. If you chose not to do a patch test we are not responsible for any reactions that may occur.

What if I do not like it?
As with all cosmetic procedures, individuals should not make their choices lightly. We always recommend clients do their research, understand the procedure and compare different artists' work and portfolio when making their decisions. Our lash practitioners will do their utmost best to shape and tint the lashes to the clients satisfaction. Every effort will be made to achieve a satisfactory appearance, but please realize that nothing is guaranteed as these are chemicals being used & each individuals body chemistry is different. Tinted lashes may eventually fade away, & perms will eventually relax & grow out if no additional touch ups are done. If you are happy with your lashes, touchup sessions are recommended to maintain those results.
