While Healing it is important to AVOID the following:
Hot Steamy Showers
DO NOT use anything on the brow area except the grape seed oil.
This area is an open wound so, to avoid infection from occurring, DO NOT touch with dirty hands.
Note: The brows will look darkest on days 2 & 3. After they have peeled, the skin on the tattooed brow area will appear a milky white color, and the pigment will have dramatically lightened. This is a natural part of the process. At about 4 weeks the final result of pigment retention. The 6-8 week touchup is IMPORTANT, to reinforce any pigment that may have not retained, and to correct any asymmetry that may have formed during healing due to lack of pigment retention. ((If you wait longer than 10 weeks additional touchup charges may apply))
Disclaimer: Eyebrow hair stroke tattooing heals best on normal to dry skin types. Eyebrow hair stroke tattooing may not work well on clients with more oily skin types, large pores, or older skin types. On those with oily skin types and larger pores, results may appear softer and the lines less defined. However, we will suggest a different technique, such as a powder or ombre brow for those who do have more oily skin and results will be just as stunning.
Clients with super thin skin, Rosacea, or Keloids cannot receive Microblading so Hair Stroke or Powder technique by tattoo machine is often suggested as an alternative method on a case by case basis. Some people have highly effective immune systems that reject the pigment, and some just have highly effective skin for healing. It's very rare, but it's important that all clients understand this is a possibility and in most cases there is no way for us to know if this will take place prior to the work being done. Occasionally, we will recommend additional appointments for further touch-up, or a different technique called shading/ombre effect at additional cost. If the client were still retaining very little pigment after the third appointment, we would not recommend another touch-up, as it might be too much for the skin. Healed results will vary on a client by client basis, therefor absolutely NO guarantee will be made. Additional sessions may be required to obtain optimal results & additional charges will apply.
